Prior to becoming a multifaceted business entrepreneur, Errol "E.Poppi" McCalla Jr. was involved in the music and entertainment industry. He created music production company PlayHouse Music, Inc. and established numerous relationships throughout the industry. Mr. McCalla experienced many accomplishments including collaborations with top music artists as Destiny’s Child, Beyonce’ Knowles, Missy Elliott, Keyshia Cole, etc., and has collaborated with or worked under the direction of many industry leading producers such as: Rodney Jerkins, Dallas Austin, Timbaland, Dre. Dre, Rick Nowels, Ron Fair, and others.

In due course, Mr. McCalla was introduced to industry veterans Shawn Holiday and Jon Platt and signed a co-publishing agreement with EMI Music Publishing, one of the world’s largest music publishing companies. In 2004, he received the highest honor amongst his peers -  2 Grammy Awards and 4 nominations and a nomination for Prestigious TEC Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement. Mr. McCalla received multiple Platinum and Gold Producing, Songwriting, and Mixing Award recognitions; and has served as Board member & Vice President for Texas Chapter Recording Academy Grammy Association. McCalla continues to utilize his resources within the industry to facilitate ventures with record and film companies for Playhouse as well as other aspiring artists and producer/songwriters, creating a strong residual base, which allows him to venture out to explore other non-related industries.

McCalla also offered his music skills to Gospel Music legend Yolanda Adams, whereby his team contributed works to over 60% of her project titled "Becoming" which has peaked U.S. Billboard's Top Gospel Albums at #3; received an • Award for BET's "Gospel Album of the Year"; A • Nominations for Gospel Music Association Dove Awards "Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year", • Two (2) Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations and a • NAACP Image Award "Outstanding Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary)".

In 2005 McCalla created the concept and foundation for C.I.M.G., "Creative Investment Management Group". The company engaged in pre-foreclosure and foreclosure acquisition, hold and resale of mid to high-end single & multifamily units, land, and commercial real estate. Eventually, McCalla brought in additional partners to form what he terms as a “brokers conduit”, a melting pot of resources, with strategic alliances such as Hard Money, Institutional & Private Lenders, all with knowledge ranging from the Commodity, Energy and Real Estate industries. With this structure, McCalla grew and managed a diverse national portfolio of real estate valued more than 12 Million Dollars.

By 2007, McCalla opted to put more focus on Energy and Commodity related interest and created Elector Gas LLC, an energy management company for commercial energy, in which he joint ventured at that time with (ElectyourRate) where they served as an aggregator for commercial energy. He also helped build a valuable and profitable team with Ambit Energy, a direct sales retail service provider for residential and commercial energy, and is now recognized and awarded as a high-six-figure income earner within his team at Ambit Energy.

Concurrently, McCalla explored collaborations with oil and gas company, QMB Consultants LLC, and Verity Capital, UK. Within the two companies, McCalla performed similar tasks as a managing member; tactically orchestrating, negotiating and screening potential clients. Errol's experience spans 20 years in the business sector and has recently served as an Administrative Officer with Investment Advisory firm, Knight Nguyen Investments, to advise on internal company operations and was appointed as the CEO of a Lifestyle & Travel Management Company, ClubEVI (Elite Vacations International).

With all this, McCalla is also a dedicated husband to his wife of 15 years and father to their 3 beautiful daughters and has taken his talents to dedicate towards managing their multiple family businesses and their family foundation, McCalla Family Foundation, and its mission, “TO BUILD, AMPLIFY AND MOTIVATE WHOLENESS FOR YOU AND YOUR WORLD”. The McCalla's have begun philanthropic efforts to promote wholeness, wealth development strategies, and guidance to all they come in contact with.
